Cadiz, 6C: Winograndsky column, first week

Good afternoon we are a group of students of enology and are participating in the experiment Winogradsky column, we will discuss below that observed in the first week.

Additions to the sandy beach and water enriched with nutrients: CaCO3, motor oil and paper

Day 1: The water is clearer and the surface a "film" is appreciated.
Day 2: We can see a small crustacean swimming in the water.
Day 3: The "film" on the water surface is larger and appears to be formed by wires.
Day 4: we can see two new small crustaceans but differently at first.
Day 5: small air chambers are seen in the area exposed to light. The other sides of the bottle does not have these holes.
'These holes may be formed by gases released by microorganisms present in that area, brighter and closer to the surface to the bottom of the bottle.
Day 6: algae has appeared less on the side exposed to sunlight.
-The Small crustaceans have tunnels in the margins of the bottle where they hide.
-The Environmental conditions not seem to be unfavorable to them.
