This is my second post about our Winogradsky´s column.
In the second week, the bottle has been in the same place that the last week but the temperatures has risen a little. We believe that this could have affected the growth of bacteria.
When we observed te bootle, we realised that some bubbles appeared in the surface of the bottle. Possibly, they are produced by the aerobic microorganism. As well, we observed that the mixture of the bottle has turned darker, while, the other has kept the same. For this reason, we supposed that the sulfate-reducing bacteria have proliferated in the brighter area. In the walls of the top of the bottle, white and orange pigments have appeared.We think that they have been done by the bacterias of iron but we are not sure.
