We are a team of 3 people of the university of Cádiz,
Spain. We prepared two Winodgrasky columns:
one of them was kept in a box without light whilst the other one with was with
natural light next to a window.
The
way to prepare them was by introducing in a bottle: 500g approximately of
sedimented mud river -from the river San Pedro-, plus 0.5g CaCO3 and
0.5g CaSO4 and
a few pieces of filter paper with tap water, we knead the mixture to homogenize
it and filled it with approximately 1/3 and more sediment diluter with water to
fill 2/3 more. As stated before we then placed a column with no light and
another one within sunlight reach, both of
them in room temperature.… We'll wait for a
week and see what happens!
See
you soo!!
